Our research and researchers
New Jersey Institute of Technology has developed extensive capabilities in microelectronics and micromachining technologies for biomedical applications. The Microfabrication Innovation Center at NJIT has a fully equipped cleanroom facility for design, fabrication, and test of Bio-MEMS based on silicon, glass, polymer-based micromachining technologies, IC microelectronics, nanotechnologies, integrated biosensors, and bio-actuators, microfluidics structures, and biochemical chips and micro-chemical rectors. MIC has been involved in major NJIT Research and Development projects.
